What Is Damsel In Defense?

I need certainly to admit this really is one of many more unique multilevel marketing companies that I've come across.

Because it appears as though every other multilevel marketing company is attempting to sell another latest greatest fat loss supplement or beauty routine.

But with damsel in defense they're in a very unique market. They're primary focus provides personal protection products to women. They do carry other products along with online protection services.

I'm all for the products this provider is offering. Because the frightening statistics are 1 out of every 6 American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime. Source: RAINN.

So, it concerns no real surprise that more and more women are seeking ways to guard themselves. Everything from using personal protection products to taking self-defense classes.

Now, the business was cofounded by Mindy Lin (CMO) who has experience in direct selling that originated from being a sales rep for Mary Kay cosmetics.

And Bethany Hughes (CSO) who'd her own security business called Bethany Hughes security solutions.

The two met in 2009, fast forward to 2011 and damsel and defense was born. And in 2013 Mindy and Bethany were named businesswoman of the season by the National Association of Women Business Owners. (NAWBO)

And in 2016 they won a Rising Star award and in 2017 a Vision For Tomorrow award and in 2018 Excellence in Salesforce Development award all from the Direct Selling Association.

The organization is situated out of Boise Idaho. And are a member in good standing of the Direct Selling Association (DSA).

When did Damsel in Defense Start?

Damsel in Defense was founded in 2012, by Mindy Lin and Bethany Hughes in the Boise Idaho area, servicing the more expensive United States of America. While this provider was started and founded by women, both partners brought on a man CEO named Bob Hipple, to use because the Chief Executive Officer and bring his experience with multi-level marketing. Bob Hipple includes a history of working with multi-level marketing companies as a consultant, advisor, and a number of other capacities in direct sales.

Is Damsel in Defense A Pyramid Scheme?

Since Damsel in Defense members earn money both by selling services and recruiting new members, then it's safe to state that Damsel in Defense isn't a pyramid scheme.

Don't forget that Damsel in Defense can be an MLM, meaning they operate using the same model as pyramid schemes.

Recruiting is more encouraged than selling, and yes, you earn more by recruiting people than selling products.

Is Damsel in Defense successful?

Yes, they're successful. Despite it's multi-level marketing business structure, Damsel in Defense has a significantly solid practice and true potential, when equipping people who need self-defense equipment. But ultimately, the business is still a multi-level marketing company which makes money off of taking more value than they provide. If you purchase a Damsel product, you are most likely to cover reasonably limited price for a faulty product. If we could give a ranking, it would be a C. Here is the stereotypical multi-level marketing program with a great purpose, but poor products. Their business is potentially profitable for Damsel Pro's, and it's not a scam, but they're certainly only your run-of-the-mill multi-level marketing company.
